It's the BEST TV I've Ever Seen

You can't go wrong with this TV. This TV is fantastic. Great picture and surprisingly good sound (considering the negative comments some reviewers made). I was looking for a 22" TV for my office/den and I read all the reviews on Amazon and other web sites. I visited several retailers to compare models but couln't find this one in a store. I have two Panasonic Plasma sets and felt confident in the brand so I ordered it.I ran the initial setup and to my surprise the tuner picked up 45 digital channels in addition to the analog channels I was expecting. I assumed the cable company had upgraded thier service, so I ran the setup again on my kitchen TV (19" Sharp LCD), but it didn't detect the bonus channels I get with my panasonic. I'm ordering another 26" Panasonic to replace the Sharp in my kitchen.
This is the best value and quality you can find in a smaller screen TV! Gotta LOVE IT!!!

Perfect TV for a bedroom, spare room etc. Charges and plays form ipod easily - I would have preferred HDMI inputs for the ipod cradle so I could bring it with me on trips
Other inputs are well designed. I'm a freak about keeping my cords untangled and easily identified. No problem here.
I'm considering buying a second one of these for the guest room.

I knew this TV was going to be fantastic just by looking at it on Amazon, but it really exceeded my expectations. Great size, great picture, great features. And the iPod dock feature is absolutely incredible. We have it hooked up to our main stereo system in the house through the TV's digital optical audio out port; it's like having a little DJ station in our house now. Play all your playlists, artists, albums, songs, whatever. Awesome Feature! Definitely recommend this TV for a bedroom, workout room, dorm, apartment, etc. We have ours in the area between our kitchen and main family room entertaining area, right in front of a pub table/chairs. Great for watching games, listening to iPod, etc. If you're in the market for a TV this size, BUY THIS ONE. You cannot go wrong for $289 (current Amazon price w/ free shipping).
The Perfect First HDTV

We purchased this 26" Panasonic Viera on sale from Amazon, and are very happy with it. This is our first flat panel or HDTV, and it was extremely easy to set up. I just connected things how they looked like they should be connected and -- voila! -- movie watching. We got it to hook up our PS2 and computers too (one mac, one pc), and it has been super easy, no problems.
The sound from the television is good quality, but not as loud as you might want, so you need to hook it up to an external system in my opinion. We did not have to fuss with the settings for the picture, and are completely happy with the default settings.
We have watched both DVDs and .avi movies on this and both look great (although, obviously, the DVDs are in HD and the 700mb .avis are not). We have not seen any ghosting at all. We were also able to hook it up to the laptop as a second monitor (not duplicating the current screen, but extending it), which is a cool feature.
It's really a beautiful picture, and I am very happy with our decision to get this instead of something like a Coby for $50 less. This TV has the highest static contrast ratio of all of them in its price class.
I would recommend the Panasonic Viera to anyone who wants to go HD.
